The wine is a clear, bright ruby colour. A complex array of high toned red fruit aromas, ripe cherry, raspberry, cranberry with lifted floral notes, undertones of fine spice, savoury herb and quality oak Juicy, youthful and vibrant fruit driven palate. Super smooth and supple with delicate and fine fruity tannins complimenting a balanced spine of acidity. Pure cherry flavours with some sweet oak notes evident on the finish. The aroma is full of juicy plum, dark cherry and mocha with a bright wild thyme note framing the nose, continuing with luscious cassis character on the palate. The savoury cocoa and resinous spices from the oak and whole bunch fermentation help draw the red and blue fruits across palate, melding to a complex and concentrated finish.

Brassknocker by McArthur Ridge is their Village level Pinot Noir, the name is inspired from the unique Brassknocker soils which the McArthur Ridge vineyard are planted in, sited on expansive ancient glacial moraine terraces in Alexandra, Central Otago. Beautiful floral notes, aromatic and complex, showing ripe cherry, oak spice, and mocha notes on the nose. The palate is succulent with rich red berry notes, violets, oregano herbal nuances and fine tannins. The wine is supported by fine acidity and finishes with a long and balanced persistency.

Central Otago's cool climate consistently produces exceptional red fruit flavours of cherry, raspberry and redcurrant, but with concentration and length to match. RUA Pinot Noir has a rich and generous palate, with black cherry, raspberry and plum notes supported by vanilla and classic Central Otago dried herbs. A subtle spiciness adds to the complexity. The silky tannins are well integrated in this fresh and vibrant Central Otago Pinot Noir.

This Pinot Noir is an excellent example of a fruit forward Marlborough Pinot Noir. The wine shows fresh cherry fruit notes that flow seemingly onto the palate with plum and wild berries. Soft tannins compliment blackcurrant notes on the palate that extends to a supple finish.

Land that was once a high country sheep station is now a flourishing vineyard. Sheep and rabbits co-existed on the land for quite some time but the sheep couldn't keep up with the nocturnal activity of the rabbits, and in the end were driven off the land. Rabbits now run free on the vineyard and fuelled by high altitude Pinot Noir, some are reputed to be the size of ponies, but that's another story... The Rabbit Ranch Pinot Noir is made in a very soft, fruit forward, low tannin style - a wine to be savoured and supped, rather than an assault on the senses.

The grapes for Roaring Meg come from Mt Difficulty's Cromwell basin vineyards managed by their dedicated viticultural team. The addition of fruit from their Bendigo vineyard has lends a powerful, darker edge. Roaring Meg Pinot Noir features red, blue and black berry fruit aromatics. The palate is harmonious with rich dark berries and a savoury line underneath. A hint of spice and dried thyme complement the succulent fruit. Fine silky tannins frame the wine with a great flow and finish.
